Select Languages to Translate your Visualizer Type in VC

Overview

Select languages of your choice to translate your visualizer type.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Follow the steps to Add a Simple Table in Value Collaborator.

  2. Click Setting on the Value Collaborator page and then click General Settings.

  3. Click inside the Languages text box and select the languages from the drop-down list. You can select any number of languages.

  4. As you select the languages, two new settings appear Translation (Excel) and Translatable Labels thereby giving you two different options to add translations for the languages chosen. (Translatable Labels are no longer required.)

  1. Click Translation Excel. It expands to show two fields.

  2. Click Export Excel (For Translation). An Excel file gets downloaded to your device.

  3. Open the Excel file and you can see a list of English words. Now add translations for these words in the columns of those languages that you have selected.

  4. In the Excel file, you can see all the tags, Tables, Extensions, Help Panel, Visualizer Inputs, Visualizer Outputs, and so on. Enter the translations in the right column.

  5. Once completed, click Import Excel (For Translation) to import the Excel file to the platform.

  6. Click Save in the top navigation.

  7. Click Prototype.

  8. A new tab gets added to the top navigation. Click the tab and the languages that you have selected appear.

  9. Click any language and the words for which you have entered the translation in the Excel file will get converted to the language that you have chosen.
