Change the Default Input Values of a VC Prototype

Overview

Once a prototype is created using Value Collaborator, you can easily change the default input values without uploading a new Excel model.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Follow the steps to Add a Simple Table in Value Collaborator.

   

   
   

2. On the prototype page, the values in blue color are called input variables. Changes in input values bring about changes to output variables.

   

   
   

3. After some time or when you change the tabs, a message appears to notify the changed variable has not been saved. Even the Save button would highlight the number of variables not saved.

   
   

4. Click Save. And the changed variable would be saved.

   

   
   

5. To ensure whether the variable has been saved, click Export and select from the available file formats. The file would be downloaded to your system.

   

   
   
6. As you open the file, you can see that the changed variable has been saved.
