Activate Extension Buttons for Custom Created Tabs/Sections

Overview

The extension buttons that are not activated in custom created tabs or sections can easily be activated using the Tag feature in Variable Types..

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Follow the steps to Custom Create Tabs/Sections using the Add Navigation Tab in Value Collaborator.

   

   
   

2. When you create a new tab/section, you can see that except for New Table none of the extension buttons are activated.

   

   
   

3. To activate the extension buttons, click Variable Types on the Visualizer Type page.

   

   
   

4. Click Tags.

   

   
   

5. Click Create New Tag.

   

   
   

6. Enter the name of the section in the Tag field.

   
   

7. Click Create.

   

   
   
8. Refresh the Value Collaborator page and you can see that the extension buttons are now activated.
