Custom Create Tabs/Sections using the Add Navigation Tab in Value Collaborator

Overview

Using the Add Navigation tab you can custom-create tags and sections directly in the Value Collaborator.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Create a generic file with all the details and calculations in one sheet. Name the sheet as Discovery.


  2. Follow the steps to Access the Visualizer Types Page.


  3. Click Create New Visualizer Type and provide an appropriate name for the visualizer type.


  4. Click Create.


  5. Click Import via Excel and upload the newly created generic file.


  6. Click Value Collaborator on the Visualizer Type page.


  7. You can see only one tab named Discovery on the UI Builder page.


  8. Click Add Navigation either on the left navigation pane or the top navigation pane.


  9. Click Add Custom Navigation.


  10. Enter a title in the Tab and Section fields. You can either use the same title for both Tab and Section or you can enter two different titles.


  11. You can see an Add Category field but need not enter any title there.


  12. Click Add.


  13. You can see a new tab and section created.


  14. Continue to add more tabs and sections as required.


  15. Click Save on the top navigation.


  16. Click the Discovery tab and you can see that it contains all the tables.


  17. Follow the steps to Move a Table to Another Tab/Section in Value Collaborator.


  18. If you want to add a new table in a tab or section, follow the steps to Add a Simple Table in Value Collaborator.
