Use Overlay Variables on Graphic to add Static and Dynamic Images in the VC

Overview

The Overlay Variables on Graphic allow you to add static and dynamic images on the prototype in Value Collaborator very easily.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Follow the steps to Upload your Model/Create a Visualizer Type.

2. Click the Advanced tab on the Visualizer Type page and then click Overlay Variables on Graphic.

3. The Overlay Variables on Graphic page appears.

Adding a Static Image

1. Click Drop files here to upload and upload an image.

2. Click Next.

3. Click to select the Static Image radio button.

   
   
4. Click Next.

5. Enter a name in the Extension Name field. Ensure to add a meaningful name as it would be displayed on the Prototype page.

   
   

6. Select the tab from the Tag drop-down list where you want the image displayed.

   
   

7. Click Manage Tag to Create New Tag.

   
   
8. Click Finish.

9. The Prototype page appears.

10. Click the tab selected to display the image.

11. The image appears on the exact page.

Adding a Dynamic Image

1. Click Drop files here to upload and upload an image.

2. Click Next.

3. Click Create New Overlay.

4. Make the selections and then click Create overlay.

5. Click the mouse on the variable and move it to a position that you prefer.

   
   
6. Click Next if you want to go ahead with the overlay created.

7. Enter a name in the Extension Name field. Ensure to add a meaningful name as it would be displayed on the Prototype page.

   
   

8. Select the tab from the Tag drop-down list where you want the image displayed.

   
   

9. Click Manage Tag to Create New Tag.

   
   
10. Click Finish.

11. The Prototype page appears.

    
    
12. Click the tab selected to display the image.

13. The image appears on the exact page.
