Add a YouTube Video in Discovery Wizard

Overview

You can easily add a YouTube video as an extension in Discovery Wizard.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Follow the steps to Upload your Model/ Create a Visualizer Type, if you are using a Model or follow the steps to Import Google Sheets.


  2. Open YouTube. Navigate to the video you want to add in Discovery Wizard.



  1. Right-click on the video and then click Copy embed code.


  1. Paste the code in a document. Copy only the embed URL.



  1. Click Discovery Wizard on the Visualizer Type page.


  2. Follow the steps to Enable the AutoSave Feature in Discovery Wizard.


  1. Click Add Video. The Video Editor pop-up box appears.



  1. Enter a name in the Extension Name field.


  2. Paste the URL in the Embed Video URL field and then click Create.



  1. The newly added video appears on the Prototype page.


Editing the Video


  1. Click the pencil icon or Update Extension button.


  1. You can replace the embedded video URL, if you want, and then click Update.

Deleting the Video


  1. Click the trash icon to delete the video.

Copying the Video


  1. Click the Copy Extension tab.



  1. Click Copy As New.


  2. The Extension Name automatically gets updated so you need not add a new name.


  3. The video gets copied on the same tab or section.


Showing or Hiding the Video

  1. Click the eye icon.


  1. The Show/Hide Extension popup box appears. Click inside the Hide Extension textbox and select the hide code reference from the drop-down list.


  2. Click Save.


  3. The video would be hidden from view.

Note:


  1. If you want to upload a similar video in Discovery Wizard for another Visualizer Type, click the pencil or Update Extension icon and copy the Embed Video URL. Now paste this link into the Video Editor pop-up box of the new Visualizer Type.
