Add a Tooltip in Value Collaborator
Overview
A tooltip is a short description that appears when the user holds the mouse pointer over a screen element. Tooltips offer a great way to add clarity to an element or component that might seem unclear to users.
Step-by-Step Guide
Follow the steps to Upload your Model/Create a Visualizer Type.
Click Value Collaborator on the Visualizer Type page. When the page appears click the Save button on the top navigation.
Click the down arrow button in the side navigation and a few menu buttons appear on the right pane.
Click Table and it displays the table created earlier.
If no table has been created, then click New Table. (Follow the steps to Add a Simple Table in Value Collaborator).
Hover over the cell where you want to add the tooltip and then point your cursor to the circled I’ button, and the Tooltip text box appears.
Enter a brief description in the text box.
Click the Save button on the top navigation.
Click Prototype and you can see the tooltip on the Prototype page.
If you want to edit the tooltip, go to the Value Collaborator page, make changes, and click Save.

Go to Value Collaborator and point the cursor to the circled I’ button.
When the Tooltip text box appears, remove the content and click the Save button on the top navigation.
Click Prototype. The Prototype page reflects the changes.
