Add an Image in Discovery Wizard


Overview

You can add an image in the Discovery Wizard.


Step-by-Step Guide


  1. Follow the steps to Upload your Model/ Create a Visualizer Type, if you are using a Model or follow the steps to Import Google Sheets.


  1. Click Discovery Wizard on the Visualizer Type page.



  1. Click Add Image. The Image Editor pop-up box appears.



  1. Click within the box to upload an image.


  2. Enter a name in the Extension Name field. This name would not be visible on the Prototype page.


  3. Click Next.



  1. Click Add Overlay, if you want to add text to your image.



  1. Click to select the value or code reference to be displayed from the Variable drop-down list.




  1. Enter the text to appear before the value in the Text Before Variable field.


  2. Enter the text to appear after the value in the Text After Variable field.


  3. Click to select a Background Color from the color picker. Click Remove if you do not want to have a background color.


  4. Select the Font Size, Font Color, Font Weight, and Font Style.


  5. Select Text Alignment to decide the position of the text within the overlay.


  6. Enter the value in pixels in the Field Width text box to have a width of your choice for the overlay..


  7. Click Save to save the overlay created.



  1. Hover the mouse over the overlay and then click to move the overlay to a desired location on the image.

  1. Hover the mouse over the overlay and double-click to make edits to the overlay.

  1. If you want to keep the overlay, click Finish.



  1. The image appears on the Prototype page.

  1. Click the Save icon on the top navigation or follow the steps to Enable the AutoSave Feature in Discovery Wizard.


Editing an Image


  1. Click the pencil icon to replace the existing image, delete the existing overlay, or add a new one or multiple overlays.



Deleting an Image


  1. Click the trash icon to delete the image.


Copying an Image


  1. Click the copy icon to copy the extension.

  1. The Extension Name automatically gets updated so you need not add a new name. Now, you can easily create a copy of the same image or you can upload a new image.

Showing/Hiding an Image


  1. Click Show/Hide Extension to show or hide the extension.


  1. To hide the chart, click the down arrow button to select the hide code reference from the drop-down list and click Save.


  2. The image would be hidden from view.



Note:


  1. If you want to upload the same image in the Discovery Wizard of another Visualizer Type, click the pencil or Update Extension icon and copy the Existing Image URL. Now paste this URL into the Image Editor pop-up box of the Discovery Wizard.
