Override Values in Discovery Wizard

Overview

You can override values in Discovery Wizard. For that, you must select an output variable as the Overridden Value. Though the value is taken from the Output sheet, it is called the Calculated Input because in Discovery Wizard it is shown as an input variable.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. In the VROI_OUTPUTS sheet of the flat file, add one more column named Override.

  2. Identify the variable that is to become the Overridden Value or the Calculated Input. Against that variable put 1 in the Override column.

  3. Follow the steps to Upload your Model/Create a Visualizer Type.

  4. Follow the steps to Add a Table in Discovery Wizard or Add Variables in Discovery Wizard.

  1. When you enter the Override Value, the value appears as 0.

  2. A new icon appears that indicates that the value is the Overridden Value or the Calculated Input.

  1. Click Preview UI. When you hover over the icon, you can see the actual calculated value. Just click the icon, if you want to use the calculated value for calculation.

  1. As you change the value, you can see the related values also getting updated.

  2. Click Save. The icon changes to green in color.
