Add an Image in Value Collaborator


Overview


You can easily add an image as an extension in Value Collaborator.


Step-by-Step Guide


  1. Follow the steps to Create a Visualizer Type.


  1. Click Value Collaborator on the Visualizer Type page.



  1. Follow the steps to Enable the AutoSave Feature in Value Collaborator.


  2. Click the tab or section where you want to add an image.



  1. Click Image Overlay.



  1. Click Upload to upload an image from your device.

  1. Click Next.



  1. Click Create New Overlay to add an overlay on the image.



  1. Click inside the Variable textbox and select the code reference from the drop-down list.



  1. Enter the text in the Text Before Variable field, if you want a text before the code reference.


  2. Enter the text in the Text After Variable field, if you want a text after the code reference.


  3. Click to select a Background Color from the color picker. Click Remove Background Color if you do not want to have a background color.


  4. Select the Font Size, Font Color, Font Weight, and Font Style.


  5. Select Text Alignment to decide the position of the text within the overlay.

  1. Enter the value in pixels in the Field Width text box to have a width of your choice for the overlay..

  1. Click Done if you want to keep the overlay on the image.



  1. Hover the mouse over the overlay and then click to move the overlay to a desired location on the image.

  1. Hover the mouse over the overlay and double-click to make edits to the overlay.

  1. If you want to keep the overlay, click Next.



  1. Enter a name for the extension in the Panel Name field. Select the name carefully as the panel name might appear on the Prototype page.

  1. Click Finish. You are notified when the extension is saved successfully.

  1. Click the Prototype button on the top navigation.



  1. The Image appears on the Prototype page.

Editing the Image


  1. Click Extensions. It expands to show the extensions added.



  1. Click Edit if you want to replace the existing image, delete the existing overlay, or add a new one or multiple overlays. If the Edit button is not found activated, refresh the page.


Copying the Image


  1. Click Copy to save your time and effort from creating another extension. After copying, make changes to the copied one.

Note:


  1. If you want a similar image for another extension or Visualizer Type, click Edit, copy the URL from the Existing Image URL, and paste it into the Image Overlay of the new extension or Visualizer Type.


  2. You can change the order of the extensions added by using your mouse to drag and drop the extensions in the order of your choice.
