Importing Logos Dynamically on Word/PPT Exports

  1. Follow the steps to Add Dynamic Variables for Word Export or Add Dynamic Variables for PPT Export.

  2. In the Word doc or PPT, use the below dynamic variable anywhere you want the logo to appear.

<VR_CustomerLogo_x_y_scale_VR> (Recommended)

or

<VR_CustomerLogo_x_y_width_height_VR>

or

<VR_PartnerLogo_x_y_scale_VR> (Recommended)

or

<VR_PartnerLogo_x_y_width_height_VR>

  1. Click Export on the Visualizer page and select the format.

Note:

  1. All coordinates are expressed in points (72 dpi).

  2. 72 points = 1 inch; 72 points = 96 pixels

  3. The format of the variable placeholder in the template is x_y_width_height. For e.g: <VR_IMG_TCO - 8zvj_450_50_252_66_IMG_VR> translates to:

x = 450 points; y = 50 points; width = 252 points; height = 66 points

  1. If we convert from points to pixels using the formula 'pixels = points * (96/72)', we get:

    x = 600 pixels; y = 67 pixels; width = 336 pixels; height = 88 pixels

  2. The "scale" value is a percent of the original size of the logo imported. For e.g.: <VR_IMG_TCO - 8zvj_450_50_15_IMG_VR> translates to:

    x = 450 points; y = 50 points; scale = 15%
